Here are some more books I have read and enjoyed lately (there have been a few books I wouldn't bother recommending to anyone!). There have been others, most notably "Freedom" by Joseph Franzen, that I have enjoyed and passed on to others.
I had never read Tolstoy before but thought I should make the effort, especially after hearing that
Richard Flanagan reads Anna Karenina every couple of years! I was surprised to find I really enjoyed it and wasn't a slog as I had feared! The Agassi autobiography is a great read highly recommended for anyone who follows tennis. Death of River Guide is brilliant...but I had already decided I would love it before I picked it up!
